Thanksgiving Sunday/Receiving New Members Sunday, November 24th
Come to the worship service to welcome our new members –
and stay to honor them at a reception with punch and special goodies!
Hanging of the Greens Saturday, November 30th at 10:00 a.m.
A short service with carols will explain the origin and symbolism of the decorations we place in our church and our homes for Christmas.
Then, we’ll experience the joy of decorating the sanctuary for the Advent/Christmas season. Join us!
Advent Kick-off Sunday, December 8th at 4:30 p.m.
Everyone’s favorite event!
4:30 pm Make a Chrismon and place it on our fellowship hall Christmas tree.
5:00 pm Enjoy a delicious pot luck dinner.
6:00 pm Sing carols in the sanctuary, hear a choral anthem, receive a blessing
7:00 pm Go home full of Christmas cheer!

Adult Bible Study Join us via Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7:15 for this weekly adult Bible study with a time of prayer and praise.
A new study on John & Charles Wesley using “John Wesley: Holiness of Heart and Life” and
The United Methodist Hymnal will be led by Margaret Cornell October 22nd - November 26th.

Bagging: Tuesday, November 19, 10am
Distribution: Thursday, November 21, 7-8pm
Grocery bags with and without handles are needed to supplement our supply. Please drop them off behind the screen at the end of the downstairs parish hall. Bags without handles are used to line the bags with handles so they are strong enough to carry sizable loads.
