We will be placing our last 2025 order for gift cards on Monday, December 21st,
so PLEASE submit your order by 8:00 p.m. on that day.
A complete alphabetical list of participating merchants and order forms are available in Fellowship Hall. However, you don’t need to use the order form.

Advent Party Sunday, December 7
4:30 p.m. CRAFT Make an ornament for the Jesse Tree --and learn what a Jesse tree is.
5:00 p.m. POTLUCK SUPPER
6:00 p.m. SING CAROLS (interspersed with jokes and meaning of the Jesse Tree ornaments).
Christmas Plants
Order forms are available in the narthex. Please email the order form to Arlene Dezendorf at arlenejoyce@icloud.com or place it in the basket in the narthex. Orders are due December 7th.
Christmas Shoeboxes
We will be collecting Christmas Shoeboxes to be distributed locally by Dutchess County’s Acts of Kindness. Fill a shoebox size box with items such as crayons, coloring books, hair accessories, games, matchbox cars, gloves, candy, etc. Use your imagination – be creative! No liquids. Please wrap it and write “boy” or “girl” and the age it’s appropriate for in the outside end of the box. There is always a need for boxes for teens (suggestions: gift cards, gloves, scarves, lotions, etc.) The boxes are due by December 8th and may be dropped off in church or the Lutke room. Caroling for Shut-ins Sunday – December 21st
Every year members of the TUMC choir and others who enjoy singing carols bring good cheer to some of our shut-ins. We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21st and carpool to various members’ homes. Song sheets are provided, and we encourage everyone to join us in this church family activity.
Adult Bible Study Join us via Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 for this weekly adult Bible study with a time of prayer and praise. For the reading materials, please contact Clay Beattie at (845) 223-5584.
Round Table will meet via zoom at 7 pm on Tuesday evenings at 8:05.

Helpers should try to be there by 6:30 pm. For the moment, no more paper bags are needed, since so many people have contributed so generously. We'll let you know when the need arises again, but now our prime concern is storage space!
