Those in the southeastern states of Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee are beginning to recover from the catastrophic impacts of Hurricane Helene. They need our prayers and help.
If you have the ability and desire to contribute to disaster response, there are Two Ways to Give through UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

Remembering the Dead All Saints Day, Sunday, November 3
The persons who have died during the past year will be solemnly remembered as their names are read in the worship service on All Saints Day, November 3rd. Please write on an index card (available in the narthex) the name(s) of the person(s) you would like to include in this remembering. Place the card in the offering plate or give it to Pastor Eileen.

Treat Bag Project October 27 immediately following the worship service
You are invited to contribute candy, snack foods, and small toys for treat bags to be given out at the 10/31 food pantry distribution. Place items in the basket in the narthex each Sunday through 10/27.
Fall Festival Sunday, October 27 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Fun for children of all ages: crafts, games, snacks, story, trunk or treat, pumpkin carving, pumpkin glow!

Roundtable Discussions Round Table meets every other week via Zoom at 8:05 p.m.
The next meeting will be October 1st and the topic will be vacation and bucket lists.

Adult Bible Study
Join us via Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7:15for this weekly adult Bible study with a time of prayer and praise. We are currently studying C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters. A new study on John & Charles Wesley using “John Wesley: Holiness of Heart and Life” by Charles Yrigoyen, Jr. and Thle Study e United Methodist Hymnal will be led by Margaret Cornell
beginning October 22nd and ending on November 26th (before Advent begins).

Cooperative Parish Charge Conference Sunday, November 17
Our annual church conference will be held in a cooperative parish wide meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17th at the Poughkeepsie UMC. Everyone is invited to attend; only members may vote.
