ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yard Sale!! 

Our 2025 Church wide Yard Sale is coming up on Saturday, May 10th, 8am until 2pm. 

Donations accepted: Thursday, May 9, 4-8pm; Friday, May 10, 4-8pm. Looking for helpers of all ages! Tasks include unpacking donations, setting up the room for the sale, helping to sell on Saturday, and of course the dreaded clean up when it’s over! 

An email sign-up sheet was sent to all members of the congregation on April 22!

This is a fun event, so please consider giving your time and energy this year to making it a success!!

Trinity Scholarship

Applications for The Trinity Scholarship are being accepted for students (or adults) who are beginning an educational journey at a college or vocational school next year. For questions or to request an application, please reach out to Joyce Gebele at 845-797-0997, joyce.gebele@gmail.com. Applications should be returned by email or in person by 

June 01, 2025.


LOVE Inc. Personal Care Collection -- MAY is TUMC’s month to collect and donate personal care items for our neighbors in need through Love INC. 

Most requested items are: Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent, Tissues, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Body Wash (men & women), Body Lotion, 

Sturdy Combs, Hairbrushes, Women’s Deodorant, Women’s Razors. 

Copies of this list will be in the Narthex along with a box where you can leave your donated items when you come to church. Keep a copy of the list as a handy reminder during May. Please reach out to family and friends to help make this mission a great success for our less fortunate neighbors. Thank you! Arlene (845) 705-5197 


Adult Bible Study Join us via Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7:15 for this weekly adult Bible study with a time of prayer and praise.  For the reading materials, please contact Clay Beattie at (845) 223-5584.

   

Trustee Work Day: Sunday, June 1stimmediately following the worship service.

Wear your work clothes to worship, then spend an hour or two working on the gardens and railings, cleaning fellowship hall windows, etc. Refreshments will be served as we work!


June 8th Confirmation Sunday

Be present to rejoice as our youth confirm their faith and we celebrate with a special refreshment time.  


Round Table meets via zoom on Tuesday evenings every other week at 8:05 pm

Food Pantry

Bagging: Tuesday, May 27, 10am
Distribution: Thursday, May 29, 7-8pm
Helpers should try to be there by 6:30 pm. For the moment, no more paper bags are needed, since so many people have contributed so generously. We'll let you know when the need arises again, but now our prime concern is storage space!
